Hi Folks, the summer season is just around the corner and everyone here at the Harrisville Food Pantry would like to wish each and everyone of you a safe and wonderful summer.
But, when it’s time for you all to pack up at the end of the season, you may have non perishable food items and even personal items that you don’t want to drag home. Just an idea, but you could donate these items to the local food pantry, we are always looking for donations and they are greatly appreciated.

We would like to thank Holly for a great demonstration on how to incorporate pinto beans in to foods that you would never think of. She made us Spicy Apple Bean Muffins and they were delicious.
We also want to thank everyone that came, we had a great turnout and we’re looking forward to doing this again and getting more people interested in eating healthier.
We will keep you posted when we schedule the next demonstration!

Times are hard for us all and with continued rising prices we find suppling the pantry hard too. We are so fortunate to have donations from community members that have kept the pantry doors open to help those in need. But with funding shortfalls we find ourselves again asking our wonderful community members to please continue supporting this much needed service for our community. We truly appreciate each and everyone of you and thank you for continuing to support us!
