We’re excited to bring a little extra excitement to Rockingham Learns for Life with Rockingham County Public Schools! Through the generosity of AD Engineering LLC, REFI will be giving away TWO $500 classroom grants to support learning opportunities for Rockingham County Public Schools students and teachers. 📚✨

Attendees can participate by completing their bingo card and bringing it to the REFI table for a chance to win!

We can't believe Rockingham County Fair is next week! Can you 🍋squeeze🍋 us in your busy schedule?! We are looking to fill a few more volunteer spots for our Lemonade Stand at the Fair. All funds generated at this Lemonade Stand will go to support programs in the Rockingham County Public Schools so round up your colleagues and proudly wear your business logo and show the community how you give back for quality education! This is a great family friendly volunteer opportunity for upper elementary to high school students to support their RCPS teachers (volunteers under 16 should have a responsible adult accompany them).

A REFI Innovative Learning Grant is helping bring books, literacy activities, and storytime directly into neighborhoods throughout the Lacey Spring Elementary community.

Recently featured in the Daily News-Record, StoryDash was created by Lacey Spring reading specialists to connect students and families with literacy opportunities beyond the school day. The program is a great example of how innovative ideas from educators can make a lasting impact on students.

🎓 On Sunday, May 17, the Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. proudly celebrated the achievements of local students during our 2026 Scholarship Reception held at EMU's Hall of Nations.

This year, REFI awarded 90 scholarships totaling more than $154,000 to 64 outstanding students across Rockingham County Public Schools. These scholarships are made possible through the incredible generosity of our donors who continue to invest in the future of education and our community.

We congratulate each scholarship recipient on this tremendous accomplishment and wish them continued success as they begin the next chapter of their educational and career journeys.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening possible, and congratulations again to the Class of 2026! 🎉
