Big time performances from Wyatt Metcalfe, James Matos, Carter Bird, Andy Fox, and Kasir Duncan helped propel our 16u squad to a near perfect weekend as we go 3-1 at the Made Hoops East Mania circuit event at Spooky Nook Sports Complex, playing against top teams from DC, MD, PA, and NJ!
Carter (16.0ppg/4.3rpg) kicked it off with a 22 point performance in our 68-61 victory Friday night against Capital Legacy and 16 points a piece against Legacy Elite and DMV Supreme, Wyatt (15.3ppg/14.5rpg/62%fg%)dominated both ends Friday and Saturday averaging over 18 points and 17 rebounds in 3 games, including 15 points and 19 rebounds against the HBA Spartans . Andy continues to be a 2-way threat as he averaged over 2 steals per game over the weekend and performed big in our 73-72 comeback win against Legacy Elite Saturday night dropping 9 points on 4-7 shooting, while Kasir drops a double double with 14 points and 11 blocks Sunday as we fell to DMV Supreme 55-67. James stepped up and showed out averaging 9.8ppg 7.5rpg on 47% and 44% shooting splits with two huge double doubles earning Most outstanding player honors for the weekend.
