New Beginnings & Great Hope.

When Loss Becomes Your Identity

One of the greatest dangers after a significant loss is allowing the pain to define who you are.

You may have experienced loss.

You are not loss.

You may be grieving.

You are not grief.

You may be healing.

You are not broken.

Your identity is found in far more than what happened to you.

The rebuilding process begins when you reconnect with your strengths, your faith, your purpose, and the possibilities that still exist ahead.

Every chapter matters.

The painful chapters matter too.

None of them get the final word.

The final word belongs to God.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6 KJV

Someone needs this reminder today.
