We're praying for the second wave of PA college students who are working in Puerto Rico this week. 58 in all (including their leaders). I don't have photos of week 1 or week 2 yet. Maybe some of you can help me with that!

Yet another reminder to keep our chaplains in prayer. Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Chaplains are often called into the most difficult and emotionally charged situations. Whether it's a mass shooting, riots, natural disasters, or anything else that turns the world upside-down, our chaplains are present to help communities make some sense out of senseless tragedies.

SUTHERLAND—For the second time in one month, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) chaplains have had to respond to a mass...

Today, we have Pastor Barry Moyer (Elk Baptist Church) serving in Houston with the Oklahoma Disaster Relief team. Monday, he will be joined by TinaMcCoy (Country &Town Baptist Church) and two of her friends from Illinois. Also today, we have Laura Collins (Great Commission Church), Rachel Woody and Tim McCulloh (both from Green Castle Baptist Church) beginning their service in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Pray for these faithful servants. Thank you to all the churches of the Baptist Resource Network for their offerings of prayer, people, and generosity to support this great work

We received word from DR State Director Kenton Hunt today that although it's been difficult, hot and muggy, God is on the move and providing for their needs. After going with little water, they now have a good flow. Volunteers are doing recovery work, and removing trees from roads to make them passable. When locals stop to find out who the workers are, they are able to hand out tracts and share the Gospel. Tonight the volunteers will be going door to door handing out solar lights as a representation of the light of Christ. in a town where they still do not have power, this gesture is sure to make a wonderful impact for the Kingdom. Please keep these Puerto Rico and our volunteers in prayer.
