Yesterday was significant for me and for Beth and for so many others. Its importance, though, was not due to a contest between two opposing teams as the world watched. No. Yesterday was the day we planted seeds in faith and in prayer, expecting a greater harvest than we can even imagine. It was First Fruits Sunday at Life Center in Harrisburg and we believe God has us there for such a time as this.

Father God,
We thank you for words of encouragement. We bless your name, dear Jesus, even as we bless what our Father is doing. Thank you, Spirit of the Most High, for your gifts and for walking alongside us as we pursue Father’s will for our lives. We are grateful. Our faith is strengthened and we find comfort in You, the Living Word. Amen.
