This Mother's Day, we're celebrating every mom — including a mom in Afghanistan who deserves a safedelivery for her baby. A woman in Afghanistan is laboring right now, and the UN says a mother dies in delivery there every two hours.

We're going to deliver 3,000 babies in 2026 — will you help?
For $150, or just $12.50 a month - you can make that happen.

Tomorrow, December 2nd, has been designated as National Day of Giving. It is a day that encourages giving back. People around the world are opening their checkbooks to provide support for organizations that are committed to helping others. It is a day where you can show your compassion for the people of Afghanistan and the life saving and life changing efforts that are taking place at Be Team’s Cure Hospital in Kabul.

Give Today: https://secure.givelively.org/donate/be-team-international-inc/giving-tuesday-2025

A few days ago, you received Be Team’s Impact Report. The report illustrates why we call ourselves Healers, Humanitarians and Life-long Learners and Teachers. We take care of those who are sick and impaired. We provide provisions and hope for those who suffer outside our hospital walls. We continually increase our knowledge to be the best at what we do. And we are committed to training the next generation of medical providers.

On this 2025 Day of Giving, won’t you consider making a donation to support Be Team’s efforts? Thanks to your generosity our impact is quantifiable, and our future is filled with optimism and hope for improving healthcare for all Afghans.

With gratitude,
Richard Manning, CEO

The August 31st devastating earthquake that struck the eastern provinces of Afghanistan, particularly Kunar, Nangarhar, and Laghman, caused extensive human and material losses. According to reports, approximately 2,200 people lost their lives and over 3,600 others were injured. Hundreds of homes were damaged, and more than 6,700 residential buildings along with numerous vital infrastructures, including schools, clinics, and agricultural and irrigation systems, suffered destruction. Nearly half a million people were directly affected by the earthquake, leaving many families homeless and in urgent need of assistance.

You can help with relief efforts, donate today: https://beteamintl.org/

In response to this crisis, Be Team's Cure Hospital dispatched a specialized team of doctors and healthcare workers to the affected areas. The journey was extremely challenging; the team faced difficult and impassable routes for vehicles along the way and potential aftershocks in the area. Nevertheless, through dedication and coordination, they reached one of the hardest-hit regions, Dara Dewagal in Chawkai District, Kunar Province, and established a free medical service camp.

The deployed team was a multidisciplinary unit, including specialists in internal medicine and family medicine, nursing staff, pharmacy personnel, a primary care unit and ambulance, enabling the provision of comprehensive and immediate healthcare services to the affected population. During the camp operations, hundreds of patients received medical examinations, treatments, and essential health education and counseling to prevent further diseases.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of Cure Hospital and Be Team International to deliver essential and urgent services to victims of natural disasters in Afghanistan. The Cure Hospital team treated 448 victims that included men, women and children, which played a critical role in alleviating human suffering, preserving health, and saving lives.

On August 31, 2025 at 11:50pm, a devastating earthquake struck Kunar Province, Afghanistan, resulting in the tragic loss of approximately 1500 lives, over 3,400 injured, and causing the destruction of 5,000 houses. These numbers are expected to change once the search and recovery operations are fully completed.

Won't you help? Please visit https://secure.givelively.org/donate/be-team-international-inc/kunar-province-earthquake-relief to make your donation today.

An immediate humanitarian response is required to save lives, reduce suffering and restore basic living conditions. Be Team's Cure Hospital is sending a team of 13 into the Kunar Province to assist in all ways possible. The need for financial support is paramount. Your donation will help to provide life-saving medical and surgical assistance to injured individuals, ensure access to essential non-medical support (shelter, food, water, sanitation), and to help strengthen local capacity for emergency response and preparedness.
