This National Menstrual Health Awareness Month, FLOW is committed to educating, empowering, and advocating for menstrual equity for women, girls, and menstruating individuals in our community and surrounding areas. 💜
Menstrual health is not just a women’s issue, it is a public health, educational, workplace, and human dignity issue.
📌 Did You Know? • Many women, girls, and menstruating people struggle to afford period products each month.
• Lack of access to menstrual products can lead to missed school, missed school, missed work, missed activities, and emotional stress.
• Some students and families rely on schools, shelters, food pantries, and community organizations for basic menstrual necessities.
• Menstrual stigma still prevents many people from openly discussing their needs or seeking support.
• Access to menstrual products helps individuals participate fully in school, work, sports, social activities, and everyday life with dignity and confidence.
