💡 Recap: - Year 5️⃣!!!
“Every body walked away with something.” The feedback we’ve gotten was swift. Some participants have already shared their wins and take aways. Here’s how we impacted our participants:
1️⃣ After attending , parents decided to open PA 529 plans for their children and take advantage of Keystone scholars, thanks to our partnership with the Pennsylvania Treasury, thanks to our phenomenal speaker and Community Engagement Director, Jerry Mitchell.
2️⃣ Thanks to our Founder, Nicole Best, after learning the steps to “Pay Yourself First” multiple high yield savings accounts were opened and set up properly and another participant enrolled in her Employer sponsored retirement account. 💰
3️⃣ Because of our Estate planning speaker, Jenni Chavis Esq., a participant began making her own legacy changes and discovered the link between unclaimed property to estate planning after a loved one passes. 💡
4️⃣ Thanks to Joshua Cressman and this years partnership with Operation HOPE, Inc., a participant decided to set up a one on one to take the leap of going from renter to owner! This and more are the resources she’s now taking advantage of after attending Financially LIT. 🏠
5️⃣ Two out of the five Young Investors have already opened their brokerage accounts to take advantage of their free stock contribution, as Financially LIT’s first year alumni.
