The final four was ran with Beaver, Pearl, Blackberry and Nelly. Blackberry came out on top of a tough cast, with Nelly right on her heels and Pearl and Beaver right there at the end.

We would like to thank everyone that came out to our first field trial of the year and a Memorial Hunt for Jimmy Teat, Jim Schlotzhauer and Eugene Walls. We held this trial in conjuction with our c**n club, Coastal C**n Hunters, who had a night hunt in the evening We hunted 25 dogs total for the field trial and they hunted 11 in the night hunt. We had plenty of good food and fellowship from 6am Saturday all the way til the wee hours Sunday morning. We held a final four who received a monster trophy in honor of our gone, but not forgotten club members.

With Mothers Day being Sunday, we have decided to cancel our field trail.

We plan to reschedule this event later this year.

2025 Delaware State Championship is a wrap. We hunted 67 entries and all but one cast returned with plus points. The wind was howling all weekend and had the rabbits sitting tight, but the dogs did their thing.
