Go Fly a Kite Contest happening next Saturday, October 4th at Crane Park, North Pond in Monroe 2-4pm rain or shine.
FREE KITES donated from the Village of Monroe
There will be two categories to win a prize that will take place from 3-4pm.

The Lions Club of Monroe, NY hosted its Annual Hudson River Cruise. A well attended cruise with perfect weather. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make this a wonderful event. Can't wait to see you Saturday October 4th for our Go Fly a Kite Contest.
Rain or Shine 2-4pm at Crane Park, North Pond. Look for us there. Free tents and a prize for the longest up in the air flown kite

A Great Day! Thank you to all of you who showed up on what we thought was going to be a rainy day.. The sun came out and so did many people to support our Lions Club of Monroe, Craft and Show Your Stuff Garage Sale held on Sunday 09/07/25. A very successful event with a very happy winner of our 50/50 raffle, one of our own vendors. Glad you all made it. Here are some of the photos from our event.

The Lions Club of Monroe is always there to support the community. If there's a need, the Lions Club is always there to lend a helping hand. Back to School Supplies are donated each year. Pres. Arlene Maher and member Paul Campanella dropped off backpacks and lunch bags the beginning of the school year to the Monroe Police Dept. to be distributed. Come join us at our next meeting scheduled the third Wed. of each month at the Empire Diner on Rt 17M in Monroe. The next meeting will be 9/17 8 am. We hope to see some new faces and join us in making the world a better place.

Fishing Derby: If your child was at the fishing derby and left early there are still unclaimed prizes. Please DM this page. I have 2 people who have claimed the prizes and have to contact 1 more person who put a phone number on the back of the ticket. The others I have no way to contact.
