The Cub House Foundation is now accepting applications for our Stay Cool Program.

This program is designed to help families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others facing financial hardship stay safe during Oklahoma's extreme summer temperatures.

Available assistance may include:
✅ Fans
✅ Cooling supplies
✅ Hydration support
✅ Heat safety resources

Priority may be given to households with:
• Young children
• Seniors
• Individuals with medical conditions or disabilities
• Limited income

🥳🥳🥳 We have exciting news to share!🥳🥳🥳

The Cub House Foundation has been awarded a $500 Spark Good Local Grant from Midwest City Sam's Club #8241!

This funding will help us continue building our Family Resource Closet and provide essential items for local families, including diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene products, adult incontinence supplies, snacks, and other basic needs resources. Increasing the resources available to support local families facing everyday challenges and unexpected hardships.

As a new nonprofit serving Harrah, McLoud, and surrounding communities, every grant and every act of support helps us take another step toward strengthening families and building a stronger community.

A heartfelt thank you to Midwest City Sam's Club #8241 and the Spark Good Program for investing in local families and helping us make a difference right here at home.

We are incredibly grateful to OG&E and Kenneth Corn for supporting The Cub House Foundation’s Stay Cool initiative with a donation of 20 box fans for families in our community.

For many families, especially during Oklahoma summers, access to basic cooling support can make a real difference in safety, comfort, and stability.

We appreciate OG&E’s investment in the communities they serve and their willingness to support local families in practical and meaningful ways.

This partnership is an important step forward as we continue building the Stay Cool Program and expanding support for families across Harrah, McLoud, and surrounding rural communities.

Last night, The Cub House Foundation had the honor of serving as the featured speaker for the Kiwanis Division Council Meeting.

We were grateful for the opportunity to introduce our foundation, share our mission, and speak with Kiwanis leaders from across the area about the importance of strengthening families, supporting children, and strengthening community support systems throughout Harrah, McLoud, and surrounding communities.

It was encouraging to connect with community leaders who are passionate about service and making a lasting impact locally. Opportunities like this help strengthen community relationships and open the door for meaningful collaboration moving forward.

Thank you again to the Kiwanis leadership and members for the invitation and warm welcome.

Supplies are officially starting to come in for The Cub House Foundation 💛

I truly cannot thank everyone enough.

Today alone, we picked up adult incontinence supplies, feeding tube supplies, nutritional drinks, hygiene items, diapers, wipes, and more.

This is exactly why building these resources matters.

Families and individuals in our community face real needs every single day, and having supplies available means we can begin building the kind of support system people can actually rely on when hard moments happen.

We are still actively working toward building inventory, especially:
👉 Diapers
👉 Wipes
👉 Snacks and drinks for children

We’re currently working on building up basic supplies through The Cub House Foundation so we can support families here in our community.

Right now, our biggest goal is simply trying to get:
👉 10 packs of diapers
👉 10 packs of wipes

These are items families go through quickly, and having them available can make a real difference when someone is struggling.

If those aren’t doable right now, even something small like juice boxes, bottled water, or snacks for kids helps us begin building inventory.

We’re still in the early stages of building this out, and every item helps us take another step forward.

We wrapped up the garage sale this weekend and we are very grateful for everyone who showed up and supported us.

Our garage sale fundraiser was a success, and it truly showed the strength of this community.
