The Service Employees International Union (SEIU Local 560) represents all non-supervisory, building service and recycling employees of Facilities Operations and Management, Dartmouth Dining Association and Courtyard Café (now collectively referenced in this Agreement as Dartmouth Dining Services or DDS), Hanover Country Club, Visitor Service Guides employed at the Hood Museum1 , Dartmouth Skiway,

the Office of Residential Life, Rental Housing, and Dartmouth College Athletic Department excluding watchmen, police, supervisors, office clerical employees, student employees, temporary or seasonal employees, and part-time employees who work on an average of not more than twenty (20) hours per week. SEIU Local 560 also represents all non-supervisory employees of the Department of Safety and Security at Dartmouth but excluding all other employees, regular part-time employees, office clerical employees, confidential employees, managerial employees, student employees, and temporary or seasonal employees.

Executive Board Voting Results 🗳️

Thank you to everyone who came out today and voted to fill our two vacancies on the Executive Board. 175 members came out to vote and helped take care of the mountain of food we had delivered. After carefully counting the votes, we are proud to announce that Shawn Hunt and Martha Dow won.

Full vote totals are below:

Brad Bell - 40 votes
*Martha Dow - 67 votes*
*Shawn Hunt - 81 votes*
Richard Larocque - 48 votes
Mike Raymond - 59 votes
Jerry Tuller - 18 votes

Please note that the vote totals do not equal the total number of voters because members were allowed to cast two votes, one for each of the vacancies, but not all members used both their votes.

A reminder that we will be holding an election for the two Executive Board positions at the Union Hall (37 Dewey Street basement) from 6:00AM-6:00PM on Thursday, August 14th. Food will be available throughout the vote including breakfast, lunch and snacks.
