Hanover Woman's Club, Juniors Non profit community service woman’s group federated by General Federation of Women’s Clubs

Our committees:
Arts: various arts projects and outings for club members
Education: HWCJ members keep scholorship booklet up to date at HHS
Scholarship: WE award achievement, academic and Arts every year
Home life: Annual halloween parade and various activitie focussing on family, health and wellness
Public affairs: Annual candidates night, keep the club members abreast of town political activitie

Ways and means: Annual Breakfast with Santa, and Hot dog stand at Hanover Day are two main fundraisers for scholorships
Gourmet club: meets monthly
Hospitality and programs and socials organize our monthly programs and meetings and plan our 2 Dinner banquets

The Club will be honoring our 2026 scholarship winners at the June 10 meeting at the John Curtis Free Library.

Our 2025 winners (pictured below) were Alana Coutts, who won the Hanover Woman's Club Juniors Scholastic Award and Zachary Lopes, who won the HWCJr Community Service Award. (The HWCJr Arts Award was given to Gia Han Nguyen, who was not present at the cermony.)

Outstanding Achievement in Communication and Public Relations, Membership, and the GFWC Jrs. Special Program Advocates for Children. Receiving the awards were members Yvonne Bright, Mary Anne Cirino, and Tammy Tedeschi.

Thank you to all the candidates who participated in our annual Candidates Night. There were 29 questions submitted. Due to time constraints, only 25 were able to be asked. Of the 4 remaining, 2 were for Board of Health, 1 for Planning Board, and 1 for all candidates. Much appreciation to all the Hanover residents who submitted these questions!

The GFWC Learning Academy is GFWC's online training platform, offering a variety of courses tailored to meet the needs of GFWC’s members.
