We have found beautiful little gems throughout Hannibal and we hope to highlight as many of them as possible. This week’s Curb Appeal House of the Week goes to 906 Fulton Avenue, the home of Bill Forbis. The entire property is immaculately kept, and as we always say, the pictures do not do it justice. The Clean Green Hannibal Team hit three locations today, we had a new member join us, Perry Williamson, and Julie Tischer’s adorable granddaughters also helped out! If you see us out and about picking up trash, give us a honk or a shout out. We love that! Not pictured were Bill Martin and Sharon Campfield.

The Clean Green Hannibal Team visited Oakwood Elementary last week and had an interactive session with Mrs. Chartrands 3rd grade class. We talked about littering “ no more trash”, played trash bingo, the students used a grabber and picked up trash and put it in the correct receptacle. They each received a Litter Hero button and prizes for trash bingo. We also had them say the We will not litter pledge. Dena and I enjoyed it as much as they did❤️

The Clean Green Hannibal Team is committed to enhancing the beauty of Hannibal, and in our efforts, we've noticed homes with outstanding front displays. These attractive homes improve not only the owners' property values but also the neighborhood's overall appearance. Our team's goal is to make Hannibal more desirable, and we think these homeowners should be commended. We're pleased to announce that our very first Curb Appeal of the Week is for 3329 St. Mary’s Avenue, the home of John & Lori Rethorn. The picture does not do it justice!

This morning, 11 members of the Clean Green Hannibal team participated in a cleanup around the Walmart area. Team members worked on nearby sections of Stardust, Munger, and along the driveway adjacent to the parking lot. The group gathered 11 bags of trash and a few additional items. While there remains more debris to collect, the team plans to return and address the area again in the future. The Clean Green Hannibal Team was honored to receive an Earth Day proclamation from Mayor Darrell McCoy at the Hannibal City Council Meeting tonight, acknowledging our team's tireless work. In attendance were: Dena Ellis, Mason Bush, Barb Obrien, Kristy Trevathan, Julie Fee Tischer, Lynn Helbing, Nora Creason, Becky Judlow,Laura McArthur Miller, Brad Pierce, and Laurie Vincent Pierce. We offer our heartfelt thanks to Mayor McCoy for this recognition and to both Mayor McCoy and Andy Dorian for their encouragement of our endeavors and to the Andy Dorian deserves special recognition for his remarkable patience and responsiveness, particularly with the frequency of emails from Dena Ellis and myself.

The Clean Green Team has over 30 members, not just the ones that were able to attend last nights presentation, it has taken this team to accomplish what we have done, not just a few. The members who couldn’t attend last night but whose heart was there are:
