The Oyster Roast at SEWE was recognized as the #3 Traditional Income Event in the country, raising $289,233 for conservation.

HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE!

When it launched in 2019, “Conservation For A Continent" set an ambitious $3 billion goal.

Now, it has set a record, and we are completely in awe of what this community has accomplished together!

Together, Ducks Unlimited volunteers and supporters have generated an unprecedented $4.06 BILLION for wetlands conservation! A first-of-its-kind achievement for landscape conservation!

Behind every dollar raised and every acre conserved is a person who showed up. None of this happens without YOU! Every banquet ticket, every donation, every hour volunteered, it all added up to something the conservation world has never seen before. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!

Here's to the wetlands. Here's to the waterfowl. And here's to the greatest conservation community on the planet!

The Ducks Unlimited Charleston Chapter recently partnered with South Carolina Department of Natural Resources SCORE Program and Rink2Reef to deploy a new oyster reef at Brittlebank Park as part of a pilot study testing an innovative oyster substrate.

This new substrate repurposes recycled hockey sticks from across the country — including sticks from the NHL — as a base coated with mortar and oyster shell tabby designed to attract juvenile oysters.

Once completed, the structures were deployed into the marsh to study the effectiveness of this new conservation method. Anticipated benefits include improved water quality, enhanced habitat, and increased shoreline resiliency.

What a weekend for the Charleston chapter at the Ducks Unlimited State Convention!

We’re proud to share that our chapter was recognized as the #1 chapter in the state, raising an incredible $986,200 for conservation efforts in 2025.

A huge congratulations to our Co-Chairman, Ryan Moscow, for being named 2025 Volunteer of the Year. A lot happens behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for all the hard work and dedication he gives to our chapter.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, members, and sponsors who continue to show up and support our mission year after year. 2026 is going to be even bigger, and we can’t wait for what’s ahead! 🦆

What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out Thursday for our Spring Raffle Frenzy—we had an amazing turnout and loved seeing the support behind Ducks Unlimited’s conservation efforts.
