MOC Pup Tent 5 We are the Honor Degree of VFW, caring for hospitalized and elderly Veterans in the local community.

The Military Order of the Cootie (MOC) is the Honor Degree of the Veteran of Foreign Wars of the United States of America (VFW). It has two primary missions; taking care of Veterans who are hospitalized or live in retirement homes and hospices, and giving support to residents of the VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids, Michigan.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, Pup Tent 5 held its annual Blood Drive, which also functions as the Post 3219 annual Day of Service. Many of our members donated life-saving juice to the Red Cross. This was again a LOUSY day!

On Saturday, May 2, 2026, Pup Tent 5 had several volunteers helping out with the annual VFW Post 3219 Golf Tournament. We also financed the following luncheon at the Post. This event is designed to provide a social gathering for Veterans and its proceeds help out in supporting needy Vets. LOUSY JOB ya'all!!

The Grand of Virginia, Mike Chissom, visited Pup Tent 5 during our monthly Scratch on September 9, 2025. He had a LOUSY time and presented us with some sheets of paper that showed we're still alive and kicking. Current Seam Squirrel John Collins made former Seam Squirrel Jessica Martinez accept the LOUSY honors, since she was responsible for forcing our members into getting all this RIDICULOUS stuff done.
