We were honored once again to host the annual Southampton Police awards at the Hand Aldrich Post 924 Hampton Bays American Legion. A fully catered event, catered by Thyme & Again, for our local law enforcement heros. We are honored the CHief and his crew chose us again this year, and we look foward to next year.

We need your help. As you know the Hampton Bays American Legion does a drive thru food distribution for East End veterans once a month. Well, a lot of veterans can not support their pets. It is with great pride that we have partnered with the Westhampton VFW, the Town of Southampton and the SouthHampton Animal Shelter Foundation To support our veterans pets. From now until february 20th, their will be a donation box at the VFW, the American Legion, and the Senior center in Hampton Bays. Please donate food, pet toys, or gift cards to pet stores, to help veterans support their pets. Please see attched flyer. You may reach out to me with any questions, and thank you for your support.

SPECIAL HAMPTON BAYS AMERICAN LEGION ANNOUNCEMENT:

Tuesday, December 2, from 530 to 8:30 PM. We will have our first annual holiday tree decorating ceremony. We have a 7 1/2 foot holiday tree in the catering hall at the Legion. We are encouraging all local Hampton Bays residence, as well as members of all of the local organizations, to come and place a patriotic ornament on the tree. You can either bring your own, and decorate the tree with it. Or for a five dollar donation, we will provide you with a patriotic ornament for you to place on the tree wherever you choose. The bar will be open. And we will have free, hot chocolate and food. This is a community event. We hope to every year have the community decorate a community holiday tree. We look forward to seeing you.

HAMPTON BAYS
The American Legion Hand-Aldrich Post 924 will host a Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at its headquarters, 55 Ponquogue Avenue.

Commander George Hand will lead the ceremony. The guest speaker will be Purple Heart recipient David Agtsteribbe, a U.S. Army veteran and the finance officer for the Hampton Bays American Legion.

Refreshments and snacks will be served afterward, during which the winning ticket in the 50/50 raffle will be drawn.
