On August 23rd our anglers were on Lake Winnipesaukee, with some fall like conditions, overcast skies and some rain in the afternoon. It was a struggle for much of the day for many to find the largemouth bite, with all teams coming to the scales with mixed bags. Three teams were able to bag both some quality largemouth and smallmouth to make it on to the podium.

1st Place - Kelcey and John came to the scales with a quality five fish bag of smallmouth and largemouth, ​​weighing in at 14 lbs. 8 oz.

2nd Place - Chris and Scott found the largemouth bite, coming to the scales with lunker largemouth of 4 lbs 8 oz, and a total bag of five fish weighing in at 14 lbs 4 oz.

3rd Place - Derek and Walter made a return to the podium coming to the scales with 12 lbs. 2 oz.

Next Up - Big Island Pond on August 30rd.

Pawtuckaway Lake Recap
On August 9th, our anglers were on Pawtuckaway Lake, with some slightly cooler temperatures and partly sunny skies. The big bass eluded some, but three teams came out on top, finding the pattern and bagging some quality fish.

1st Place - Chris and Scott found the largemouth pattern, and came to the scales with an impressive 5 fish weighing in at 18 lb. 3 oz. with the Lunker Largemouth of 6 lb. 6 oz.

2nd Place - Kelcey and John the definition of consistency this season, finishing on the podium again with 5 fish and 12 lb. 10 oz.

3rd Place - Steve and Nancy came to the scales with 5 largemouth totaling 12 lbs. 6 oz.

Next Up - Lake Winnipesaukee on August 23rd.

Sunday, May 3rd, marked the kick off of the 2026 SNHBC season and if it sets the tone we are in for an exciting 2026.
The wind and low water levels added to the challenge but turned on the bite.

Taking first place and building on last seasons success was Bruce and Joe with an impressive 4 fish limit at 11lb 13oz, anchored by a 3lb 13oz Smallmouth. Great job guys!

Second place went to the consistent threat team of Derek and Walter with 11lbs 12oz. 1oz short of the top spot. Well done.

Third place went to the never quit team of Kelcey and John with 4 fish and 10lb 10oz. They were seen competing out in waves and wind with minutes left in the tournament.

Lunker for the day went to Darren and Josh with 5lb 10oz Largemouth. This team struggled all day to find the bite with a 2 fish total of 9lb 4oz.

The low water and high wind made loading the boats post weigh-in quite a challenge but the everyone was able to exit safely, Thanks to those that assisted others at the launch.
