Tournament Recap - Newfound Lake, October 4th

Our anglers paid a visit to Newfound Lake for our final tournament of the season. WIth October comes cooler weather, and some foggy blast offs, but also a beautiful finish to the day with partly cloudy blue skis. While some teams struggled all day to find the bite, three teams were able to put together some big bags of Newfound smallies.

1st Place - Tim and Jackson found the bite, and made it to the top of the podium, with 5 quality smallmouth bass, and a total bag of 14 lbs 3 ozs. Great job guys!

2nd Place - Surprise, surprise, look who is on the leaderboard again. Kelcey and Jon yet again showed us all how its done, bringing home 5 smallmouth for a total of 13 lbs 13 ozs. Can you say AOY?!

3rd Place - Derek and Walter are back on the podium for yet again, coming to the scales with 13 lbs and 6 ozs and 5 smallies.

Lunker - Chris and Scott brought an impressive 4 lb 1 oz SMB to the scales for the lunker of the day.

Tournament Results - Big Island Pond, September 27th

Facing Nor'Easter like conditions, but in the sheltered coves, nooks and pockets of Big Island Pond, six boats of brave anglers started the day with high hopes of lunk largemouth and giant bags. While all teams caught fish, three teams stood tall against the wind and rain better than the rest.

1st Place - Kelcey and John have yet again finished on the podium and at the top of the leaderboard, distancing themselves from the rest for AOY honors with one tournament left to go for the season. They came to the scales with 5 largemouth weighing in at 15 lbs 15 ozs.

2nd Place - Derek and Walter to the scales with 5 largemouth, including an impressive 5 lb 3 oz lunker largemouth. Their total weight was 15 lbs 1 oz.

3rd Place - Kenney and Pete - This duo had the key to this lake, and with that a trip on to the podium with sizeable bag at 13 lbs 8 ozs.

Tournament Results September 13 - Winnisquam

Our anglers faced rain and an evolving fall pattern, making for some challenging conditions and bite. But three teams rose above the rest at the scales.

1st Place - Chris and Scott were able to find the largemouth pattern, bringing in a bag of 4 largemouth and 1 smallmouth, weighing in at 17 lbs 11 ozs. They also had lunker largemouth weighing in at 5 lbs 3 ozs.

2nd Place - Derek and Walter made a return to the podium with a solid bag of 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth, weighing in at 13 lbs 7 ozs.

3rd Place - Ryan and Bob made the podium for the 2nd tournament in a row, with a solid bag of 4 smallmouth and 1 largemouth, weighing in at 11 lbs and 10 ozs.

It's on to Pawtuckaway! With 2 tournaments left in the season, it's a tight race for AOY that might just come down to the final minutes of our last tournament. One fish away!

Tournament Results for August 30th - Our anglers saw a warm day with mostly overcast skies, making for good conditions on the water for a great day of competition. The top teams all finished within ounces of each other, and lunker did not make the podium!

1st Place - Darren and Josh came to the scales with another quality bag, a trend for this strong contending team this season, with 4 largemouth and 1 smallmouth, with a total weight of 13 lbs 8 ozs.

2nd Place - Kelcey and Jon, the most consistent boat in the fleet, stepped to the podium again, finishing with 5 largemouth, with a total weight of 13 lbs 6 ozs.

3rd Place - Ryan and Bob with 5 largemouth, coming in at 13 lbs 5 ozs.

Bruce and Joe bagged an impressive 6 lb 7 oz largemouth for lunker!

On August 23rd our anglers were on Lake Winnipesaukee, with some fall like conditions, overcast skies and some rain in the afternoon. It was a struggle for much of the day for many to find the largemouth bite, with all teams coming to the scales with mixed bags. Three teams were able to bag both some quality largemouth and smallmouth to make it on to the podium.

1st Place - Kelcey and John came to the scales with a quality five fish bag of smallmouth and largemouth, ​​weighing in at 14 lbs. 8 oz.

2nd Place - Chris and Scott found the largemouth bite, coming to the scales with lunker largemouth of 4 lbs 8 oz, and a total bag of five fish weighing in at 14 lbs 4 oz.

3rd Place - Derek and Walter made a return to the podium coming to the scales with 12 lbs. 2 oz.

Next Up - Big Island Pond on August 30rd.

Pawtuckaway Lake Recap
On August 9th, our anglers were on Pawtuckaway Lake, with some slightly cooler temperatures and partly sunny skies. The big bass eluded some, but three teams came out on top, finding the pattern and bagging some quality fish.

1st Place - Chris and Scott found the largemouth pattern, and came to the scales with an impressive 5 fish weighing in at 18 lb. 3 oz. with the Lunker Largemouth of 6 lb. 6 oz.

2nd Place - Kelcey and John the definition of consistency this season, finishing on the podium again with 5 fish and 12 lb. 10 oz.

3rd Place - Steve and Nancy came to the scales with 5 largemouth totaling 12 lbs. 6 oz.

Next Up - Lake Winnipesaukee on August 23rd.

Sunday, May 3rd, marked the kick off of the 2026 SNHBC season and if it sets the tone we are in for an exciting 2026.
The wind and low water levels added to the challenge but turned on the bite.

Taking first place and building on last seasons success was Bruce and Joe with an impressive 4 fish limit at 11lb 13oz, anchored by a 3lb 13oz Smallmouth. Great job guys!

Second place went to the consistent threat team of Derek and Walter with 11lbs 12oz. 1oz short of the top spot. Well done.

Third place went to the never quit team of Kelcey and John with 4 fish and 10lb 10oz. They were seen competing out in waves and wind with minutes left in the tournament.

Lunker for the day went to Darren and Josh with 5lb 10oz Largemouth. This team struggled all day to find the bite with a 2 fish total of 9lb 4oz.

The low water and high wind made loading the boats post weigh-in quite a challenge but the everyone was able to exit safely, Thanks to those that assisted others at the launch.
