We have been contacted recently about several situations in which ferals/semi-ferals need to be relocated. This is one of them.

Semi-feral Woody and his 2 friends were left alone at a local manufactured home park when their caregiver passed away. Other tenants fed them, but park rules say no feeding and cats must go. All three have been trapped and spayed/neutered/vaccinated, and a barn home has been found for the other 2 but they can't take Woody, so we are putting out a plea for a suitable home for him.
Woody may be somewhat tame, but right now is scared and shy. It is a shame he must be separated from his buddies. If you can give Woody a safe place to land, we can facilitate. A relatively protected barn, shop, or large home where he can hide and chase the mice out of and be allowed to come out of his shell at his own pace would-be a wonderful thing for Woody. Please text us at 503-741-7369. Thanks for reading and sharing. 🤩

We are getting quite a few requests for help with moms/kittens/ cats needing to be placed ASAP due to loss or potential loss of living situations. We are unable to intake anyone at this time and are asking anyone who may be able to help at least temporarily foster to let us know and we will connect you. We are likewise asking anyone who needs to place pets to please call and get on the waiting list at the local shelter before reaching out to us. (503-861-7387) Other shelters/rescue you can try:
Oregon Humane, Portland or Salem campuses
Cat Adoption Team, Sherwood, Or.
Pixie Project, Portland

Washington shelters:
Southwestern Washington Humane, Vancouver
West Columbia Gorge Shelter, Washougal, Wa.
South Pacific County Humane Society, Long Beach.

There are many small rescues as well, just do a search and contact every one you can find. If you are in a crisis situation (DV, etc.) please message us for specific information.

We realize that many of these shelters will not have immediate openings but get on any and all lists you can and check back often, at least twice a week. When space does open up you do not want to miss out.

OUR NUMBER IS 503-741-7369 TEXT ONLY PLEASE>

This is a one-year-old unneutered male. This is what happens when they roam, get lost or dumped, and never receive vet care. He is raw and bloody literally from head to tail. His head and face are so bloody and raw he drips blood into his food bowl when he eats. Apricot is one of the lucky ones, he was found and has received vet care. In a few weeks he will look good as new and hopefully be in a loving home. We have seen way too much of this lately. Please, please, please spay and neuter your pets. And keep them home safe. Teach your children the right way to love animals.

Medical fosters badly needed for kittens and adults. Kittens especially right now. You will need a secure area/crate away from other pets. Ability to give oral and eye medications and keep notes necessary. All supplies and ongoing guidance provided.

Please TEXT 503-741-7369 if you are able. I am unable to respond to comments or voice mails at this time. thank you 😸

Naomi update!

Naomi is doing much better and we are hopeful! After 3 nail-biting nights at the ER vet, she was discharged and is now with a medical foster in Portland. There is still no definitive diagnosis, however. Thank you to all who donated on her behalf, you really helped save her life.
She still has some weight to gain and strength to recover but hopefully before long she will be in her forever home. Her 2 surviving kittens are also transferring to a Portland rescue where they will finish their own recovery and find loving homes. 😻

Naomi is a 10 month old momma cat from a large, out of control colony in the Warrenton area that should have never had to have kittens. Between inbreeding and malnutrition these cats don't stand much of a chance. She is currently fighting for her life in kitty ICU with an illness the vets still can't identify. We are asking for your healing thoughts for Naomi and any donations toward her care, which is well over $5000 right now would be appreciated. Naomi is a sweet baby and deserves a happy life. 😻

Many thanks to Kate and all those helping her for stepping in and helping this colony with TNR efforts. I believe they have successfully trapped and altered around 25 cats now.

Update on black cat hit by car in Hammond last night: it was an unneutered male with multiple previous cuts/wounds. Rest easy little one, we are sorry you did not get the care you deserved until it was too late.🥲

Please spay and neuter your pets. Donate to spay/neuter clinics and rescues. Be a responsible human. 🥰
