🎤❤️ RAIN OUTSIDE… JOY INSIDE! ❤️🎶

Today, August 11, was another great day with Sing & Serve!

The rain was coming down pretty hard outside, and it definitely wasn’t the brightest day weather-wise — but inside, there was plenty of sunshine. ☔➡️☀️

We sang, laughed, danced, and just enjoyed being together. Several of the residents grabbed the microphone and joined in, which is ALWAYS one of my favorite parts. 🎤❤️

And we even got “the twins” — two of the younger ladies who work there — to step up and sing “Baby” by Justin Bieber! 😂🎶 They did a GREAT job, and everybody had fun with it.

These are the moments that remind me why I started Sing & Serve.

It isn’t about putting on some big, perfect performance.

It’s about SHOWING UP.

It’s about giving people your time, sharing some music, creating some laughter, and hopefully leaving a room with a little more joy than it had when you walked in. ❤️

🍬 **Getting Ready for Tomorrow's Sing & Serve!** 🎤❤️

Sometimes the biggest acts of kindness start with the smallest gestures.

Tonight I'm putting together bags of candy—Reese's, Kit Kats, Twix, Milky Ways, Three Musketeers, and a few other sweet treats—to hand out during tomorrow's Sing & Serve.

The candy is nice...

But the real gift is the smiles, the laughter, the singing, the dancing, and letting people know they're seen, valued, and loved.

I've learned something through all of this:

**You don't have to sing to make a difference.**

Sometimes all it takes is showing up.
