The Cast Stone Institute spent the week in Denver at The Masonry Society (TMS) Spring Meeting.

This room brings together some of the greatest minds in masonry — engineers, architects, producers, and industry leaders all working to move the industry forward.

Being part of these conversations and continuing to build strong relationships across the industry is an important part of advancing both cast stone and masonry as a whole.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to stay engaged, connected, and involved in the work shaping the future of our industry.

Big news for CSI! 🎉

The 2026 Cast Stone Institute Annual Convention is headed to Lexington, Kentucky, October 13–17 at the incredible 21c Museum Hotel.

From unique venues and walkable downtown charm to exciting offsite experiences (and yes… Keeneland race season 🐎), this is shaping up to be a convention you won’t want to miss.

⚠️ Because it’s race season, hotel rooms will book quickly—be sure to reserve yours ASAP!

CSI President Troy McCune and Leah McCune joined Liz in Louisville and Lexington for site visits as we continue planning the upcoming Cast Stone Institute Convention this October. We had the chance to explore some incredible potential offsite venues, including Keeneland and Castle & Key.

We may or may not have spent some time admiring all the masonry while we were there. 😉

Final decisions are coming soon—and it’s going to be great, so stay tuned!

🧱 Today is a big day for the masonry industry! 🧱

With Masonry Madness and the SPEC MIX Bricklayer 500 underway, the Cast Stone Institute is proud to be part of the action alongside so many skilled tradespeople, producers, and industry partners.

In conjunction with today’s events, CSI has a booth on site and will be hosting live cast stone patching sessions so producers and mason contractors alike can learn and discuss proper patching techniques and real-world repair considerations.

📍 You can find us in a SPEC MIX tent, located between the “Brick the World” station and the Masonry Cosmetics tent.

If you’re on site today, stop by, ask questions, and connect with fellow industry professionals. We’re looking forward to a great day celebrating craftsmanship, education, and the masonry community.

👷‍♂️ We’re almost set up and ready to go!

If you’re at World of Concrete, come see us tomorrow at 12:30 PM for our first live cast stone patching seminar with Brandon, our patching expert from Metro Precast & Stone Services, Inc.

This is a great opportunity for contractors, producers, and anyone working with cast stone to see proper patching techniques up close and talk through real-world repair scenarios.
