This months car owner spotlight focuses on Roger Reder and his 1966 Mustang.
Roger purchased the car in 1976 from the original owner and has never looked back.
He is celebrating his 50th year with this car. Roger worked as a machinist and purchased the car by building and trading a key machine for it.
The car is mostly all original with a 289 motor, automatic transmission with factory air conditioning and yes it still works. Even the seat belt red light on the dash still lights up for a few seconds when the car is started.
Mileage is 69,914 all original.
The Mustang did get a refresh paint job in 2010, keeping the original color and the motor was upgraded with an enhanced cam.
Roger and his lovely wife Vickie were married in this car and have enjoyed 47 years together.
Roger belongs to Tristate Mustang Club and he attends some of the car shows around the Cincy area. He was part of the “Great 5” at the 2024 Horsepower Park Car Show in 2024.
