OUR STORY
The Gallatin Trumpet Guild (GTG) has been providing educational, exceptional, and enlightening presentations to the greater community of Bozeman, campus of Montana State University and participants from across the U.S. Existing originally as a student group on the campus of Montana State university, throughout the past eight years, the organization has grown to the point wherein the Fall of 2023, was established as a nonprofit, as well as an Affiliate Chapter of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG). We are excited to vibrantly serve the greater community of Bozeman and on campus in this capacity. We have had the distinct honor in inviting top performers on trumpet to learn virtually and in person from and connect with including Principal of the LA Philharmonic, Thomas Hooten, Canadian Brass Quintet trumpeter, Ashley Hall, as well as International renowned Norwegian Trumpet Soloist, Tine Thing Helseth. We also frequently invite members of our outstanding trumpet community in the state of Montana to share knowledge through presentations including, Dan Wood, Second Trumpet of the Bozeman Symphony and Cole and the Thorns Trumpeter, and Principal Trumpet of the Great Falls Symphony, Nicholas Slaggert. We are committed to our members growing and being inspired through experiences within the state of Montana and beyond. The GTG Ensemble and members frequently attend and perform at various community performance events, church services and Conferences such as the International Trumpet Guild Conference. We are thrilled to provide the community of Bozeman and campus of Montana State University quality opportunities for trumpeters and musicians of all levels to grow in their knowledge and be inspired through special events, travels, and experiences. Thank you for your consideration and support!
