The Whelan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering children and adults with developmental disabilities. As a 100% volunteer-driven organization, we focus on providing fundraising and program support that creates meaningful opportunities and advances special education for the future.

Through a diverse range of programs, we’re able to address immediate needs within our community—from supporting local camps to investing in long-term solutions that help bring more teachers and trained professionals into the field.

Our goal is bigger than any one program. We’re working to create a lasting, generational impact that grows with our community and opens the door to even more opportunities in the future.

⏰ 13 DAYS UNTIL CAMP NORTHSTAR! 🏕️💙

Camp Northstar is staffed and run completely by volunteers, who help create a one-of-a-kind camp experience where every camper has the opportunity to grow, learn, have fun and make new friends. 🌟

Volunteers are needed for daily, weekly and overnight positions, helping with everything from sports and arts & crafts to music, special events, cabin activities and daily living skills.

There’s a place for everyone to make a difference. You can be part of helping Camp Northstar reach its goal of giving every camper an unforgettable summer experience. 💙
