Juneteenth—a portmanteau of "June" and "nineteenth"—is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. It marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure all enslaved people were freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Members got around in the community going to the Llighthouse Ministries Thift Store, Subway, and Lake Eva as maintenance was being done the Clubhouse generator.

Our Club Success in Haines City is taking their first steps in putting a beautiful Garden. The garden will allow them to have fresh fruits and vegetables every day. Members are learning what it is like to not just be out in the fresh air, but to grow things they may never knew how to do.
