Books & Bears Providing comfort to children at Meritus Medical Center and advancing literacy in Washington County. When I was 13 I wanted to create my own charity program.

I was inspired to create Books and Bears because of my father. My father had been diagnosed with cancer when I was 8yrs. old. I used to bring him a blanket and read him a books before he went to bed. I realized that all the tribulations my Dad was going through, were suffered by kids as well. Therefore, to provide comfort to kids during these troubling times, I created Books and Bears.
