The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) is a free, nationwide resource that helps connect missing persons cases, unidentified persons cases, and investigative information across the United States.

NamUs supports collaboration between law enforcement, medical examiners, coroners, forensic professionals, and families to help bring answers and bring people home.

Resources available through NamUs may include:
