We are saddened to share the passing of Ellen Leach who has tirelessly been the voice for so many missing and unidentified persons via Mississippi Missing and Unidentified. Ellen's mission began long before I met her in 2011, but she quickly became someone I could count on to help with cases. Her passion was contagious and I was lucky to have worked with her. I can only hope Reunite Mississippi can touch as many lives as she has. Rest easy, Ellen💙

Hi everyone, with so many new , we thought we'd share some information about us! Thank you for being here! 💙

Reunite Mississippi is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the investigation of missing and unidentified persons across the state through collaboration, innovation, and compassion. Our mission is twofold: to support families of the missing by ensuring they receive the guidance, information, and care they deserve, and to assist law enforcement and medicolegal agencies in solving cases by leveraging existing resources and developing new strategies.

We believe that every person deserves to be found and every family deserves answers. To fulfill this mission, Reunite Mississippi works to:

Advocate for and stand beside families of the missing, ensuring they are never alone in their search for answers.

Host annual regional Missing Persons Day events to connect families with resources and raise public awareness.

Encourage the exchange of information and collaboration among all stakeholders (families, friends, communities, law enforcement, etc.) involved in missing and unidentified person cases.

Support legislation aimed at improving policies and procedures related to missing and unidentified individuals.

Provide training and educational opportunities for law enforcement and medicolegal professionals throughout Mississippi.

Strengthen partnerships among law enforcement, forensic professionals, and community organizations to improve investigative outcomes.

At Reunite Mississippi, we are committed to creating a future where every missing person is accounted for and every family finds the resolution and peace they deserve.
