Sometimes it’s the little moments that remind us why we do what we do. ❤️

This week, the guidance counselor at Dunloe stopped us as we were picking up students and shared something she witnessed last week.

After returning from LifeWise, two students were heading into separate classrooms. As they went their different ways, they waved to each other and called out, “See you at church!” 🥹

What a sweet reminder that God is using these weekly classes to plant seeds, build friendships, and connect students to Him beyond our time together.

These are the moments that make our hearts smile. ❤️

Beautiful fall day at the TURN Harvest of Hope Fall Festival! Fun to share a booth with Columbus Citywide LifeWise and serve together. Great music, prayers and lots of resources and giveaways shared with neighbors in our community. Icing on the cake were a few hugs from some of our LifeWise kiddos! ❤️💛

One of the questions we hear most is:
How can LifeWise happen during the school day?

LifeWise is a released-time Bible education program. Parents choose whether they want their child to participate.

With parent permission, participating students leave school during an approved time, travel to an off-campus location and receive Bible-based character education and participate in activities before returning to school.

Our Groveport Madison classes are held in local churches and community spaces near the schools we serve.

It takes coordination between parents, schools, drivers, teachers, volunteers and host sites.

And for some children, that opportunity might not exist anywhere else in their week.

We are incredibly grateful to the schools, churches, families and volunteers who help make it possible. ❤️

✨ Week 2 of LifeWise! ✨

What a wonderful second week with our students! We were so excited to welcome 51 students to LifeWise this week! ❤️

There is something so special about watching these students walk through the doors each week—ready to learn, laugh, build friendships, and grow in their knowledge of God’s Word. 📖

🌟 LifeWise Quality of the Week! 🌟
Our 1st and 3rd graders learned about GENEROSITY — “Sharing my best with others.” ❤️

We loved talking about what generosity can look like in our everyday lives and encouraging our students to look for ways they can share their best with the people around them!

We are incredibly thankful for every teacher and volunteer who gives their time each week to make these classes possible and to help each student know they are seen, known, and loved.

What a fantastic first week of classes! 🙌

🙏🏼 We kicked things off by learning about the Bible and exploring what prayer means. This year, we’re dedicated to spending part of our time in small groups so the kids can build deeper relationships and pray together each week.

📖 Key Passage: Revelation 4:11 – "Our Lord and God, You are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because You have created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created."

🎶 We practiced our memory verse with a fun song and dance video—everyone loved learning the moves! Queue the air guitar!🎸

🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️ We also took advantage of the nice weather and headed outside for activity time. Who doesn't love a good relay challenge?

It's almost time! We’re so excited for another amazing year at LifeWise!

Volunteer training is complete! 🙌
We are so thankful for their servant hearts and willingness to spend a few hours each week serving our kiddos. Our bus drivers, teachers, and classroom aides are officially ready!❤️💛
