Just popping up here to wish the best birthday ever to former Councilmember Darci M. McConnell and Councilmember Vikas Relan. They are birthday twins; they are people of integrity; they served their city well.

Just wanted to share some love for these GPP residents!

Baobab Fare, an East African restaurant in New Center, won Chopped last night. The owners are refugees who came to the United States a decade ago seeking asylum.

Absolutely stunned and heartbroken as I follow the news of these tragedies in the place that holds such a big piece of my heart. Sending my love to GPP and the greater GP/HW communities.

This seems...pertinent.

Although Grosse Pointe is shedding its reputation as a conservative bastion, it’s still notable voters in the Grosse Pointe Public School System (GPPSS) just elected their first LGBTQ+ school board trustee. Even the winner herself doubted her ability to pull it off. “I still wasn't sure that

This is pretty cool. Help getting to the polls on 11/8.

This is pretty cool. Help getting to the polls on 11/8.

Election Day is only two weeks away! I’m excited to announce that we have enough in the campaign budget to offer transportation to the polls (not by plane, unfortunately 😉 it’s just a cute pic for the algorithm).

Since the city of Grosse Pointe Park has moved polling locations for ALL precincts to Windmill Pointe Park, some voters have struggled to get there. If you aren’t able to drive or need a ride for whatever reason, please take advantage of our shuttle service on November 8th. This is open to everyone, regardless of party or candidate affiliation! Remember that you do NOT need your park pass to vote.

Details to come as we learn about where the greatest need for this service is. If voters in other cities that are part of GPPSS also struggle to reach their polling locations, we can help there, too - I’m just prioritizing GPP because the consolidation of precincts presented a problem for some voters closer to Mack Avenue. If you are worried about getting to the polls on November 8th, message me where you’d like to be picked up and the approximate time, and I’ll make sure you are prioritized on the shuttle schedule.

Thank you to my generous donors who made this goal possible!
