Blake received his long awaited kidney transplant on March 14, 2013 World Kidney Day.

Blake is a 9 year old boy from Griffith, Indiana who waited nearly 8 years for his second kidney transplant. He was born with Polycystic Kidney Disease and was on dialysis since he was 3 weeks old. Blake finally received a kidney on World Kidney day March 14. 2013.

Happy 13th kidney transplant anniversary to Blake. He has become much healthier with everything! The doctors even told him he is saving his own life. He has lost weight, eats better, and his A1C came down to 5.5! We are so proud of him. Keep up the excellent work buddy!
