Match Your Mission Connecting local volunteers with local needs. The 3rd Annual Volunteer Fair - Tuesday April 16 4-7pm - Greenwood Mall

Matching Community Organizations with local volunteers who are willing and able but need to find an organization or project that suits their personal mission for having an impact in the Greenwood, SC community.

“The purpose of the Volunteer Fair is to connect community organizations with local, willing volunteers who are looking to find a project that matches their personal mission for impacting the Greenwood community,” said Eric Sorensen, a Covidien employee and member of Leadership Greenwood. The Volunteer Fair will be similar in style to a job fair or trade show. Each participating community organization will staff a table and share their mission, projects and volunteer opportunities with potential volunteers.
“Increasing the organizational capacity of our nonprofit sector is huge for our area. We anticipate that volunteers might be recruited as daily volunteers, project participants, committee members, or even as future board members,” said Angelle LaBorde, Chamber president.
