We are a non-profit organization whose focus is to help those affected by domestic abuse. We have several services that we will be introducing as our organization grows. The service we have started is to help with one of the biggest financial burdens one can have when starting over. We have storage buildings filled with all items needed to move into a new home and start over. It’s extremely stress

ful coming out of a domestic abusive relationship from the emotional healing to having to start over. We take on the burden of having to come up with the finances to create a new safe space for the ones affected by the growing issue of abuse. Many people never get out because they see no way out. This is where we help by offering to fill their new safe place and start over without the financial burden. We accept donations for furniture, kitchenware, clothes and more. We also accept monetary donations that are used to purchase new bedding, mattresses, kitchen & bath towels, along with application fees and deposits for the individuals to get into a new home and start creating their safe space. This is only the beginning of the difference we will make together in the lives of those healing. This is why we make spreading awareness about every level of domestic abuse our priority. To us, it's important to understand that the word “abuse” is more than just physical. There are many forms of abuse including emotional, mental, and verbal. We want to bring awareness to possible warning signs and red flags that appear in many abusive relationships-BEFORE it gets physical. Love bombing and gaslighting are commonly seen in these types of abusive relationships. It’s important for our organization to bring awareness into the schools so the warning signs can be seen and taught to adolescents. We are committed to changing the outlook others have of survivors by raising awareness. We want to stop the most common question “Why didn’t you leave?”. That question alone creates enough self-doubt and shame in someone to not want to leave or speak out. Our voice has been found and we intend on being loud. Together with your help we will make a difference! Services that will be introduced in the future:
A sponsor system for all survivors that want to be involved. Providing support for utility bills when needed. Transportation program
Employment Program / Resume building Counseling

Our end goal is to offer all these services at an oasis that is focused on healing and creating a new life.

The crew from T’s Healing Oasis was working hard this past weekend to organize all of your donations in our storage unit!

We were able to load up a trailer full of household goods ready to go to the next survivor in need.
Currently we have room for new or gently used bedding, silverware, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, shower curtains, bathroom towels/washcloths, bathroom mats, small trash cans, mattresses, pillows and small furniture pieces such as coffee/end tables, small kitchen table and chair sets etc…

Because of your support, we are helping more survivors than ever… but we’re officially out of space.

We’re raising:
💜 $560 — remaining balance to secure our current storage for the year
💜 $720 — to add a second container for a full year

✨ Total Goal: $1,280

More space = more lives changed.

When you make a financial donation, your generous contribution goes towards purchases like these! Most of the items we have are secondhand donations, but when we need additional household goods to fill the gaps, we try to find the very best deals so that your dollar goes as far as it can.

As the weather warms up, and we all get the urge to do some spring cleaning, please keep T’s Healing Oasis in mind! We are in need of gently used household furniture and other goods, so that we can help furnish the homes of domestic abuse survivors once they leave our local shelters.

Before you decide to take your items to the thrift store, please reach out and we can arrange a pickup!

Currently, we are looking for gently used mattresses, box springs, bedding, bathroom towels, small/medium sized kitchen tables and chairs, kitchen utensils and silverware, plates, cups, bowls, small sofas and recliners, end tables, lamps, coffee pots, trash cans, shower curtains and more!
