Hey families, summer is quickly approaching and the school year is coming to an end! Here is a helpful resource for summer programs and activities. Be sure to register early to secure your spot!

Free summer meals are coming soon. ☀️🍽️ Families who would like to participate in this year’s summer meal program are asked to complete the interest form to be eligible for meal pickup all summer long.

🗓️ Pickup is every Thursday

⏰ 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Each pickup includes 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches per child to help keep students fueled throughout the summer. 💪

Greenwood County First Steps would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make Monday’s Annual Board Meeting a true success. From our dedicated staff members who worked hard on decorations, to our wonderful caterer who ensured everything was just right. We appreciate you all.

We would also like to give a special thank you to our board members and our local community partners. Your continued support, collaboration, and commitment are what make our work possible each and every day.

As we reflect on all that has been accomplished this year, we are truly grateful for the collective effort and passion that drives our mission forward.

Who says Saturdays at work can’t be fun? 🎉

We had an amazing time collaborating with the Saluda County First Steps HIPPY program during our imaginary group connection! From giving out books to watching the kids bring their creativity to life with Play-Doh, the joy and imagination were truly inspiring.

Moments like these remind us how powerful learning through play can be. 📚✨

PAT & HIPPY did it again! 🎉✨

Last week was full of fun, adventure, and new experiences for our families! Thursday was one to remember filled with laughter, good food, and quality family time. From the bus ride to every stop along the way, we had an amazing time connecting and getting to know our families outside the comfort of their homes and the office. 💛

Moments like these are what it’s all about!

We are proud to celebrate our Executive Director for being recognized during Women’s History Month as an Outstanding Woman in the Community! This honor was presented to her by Tabernacle Baptist Church in recognition of her 20 years of dedication and service to the community. Her passion, leadership, and commitment continue to make a lasting difference in so many lives. Thank you for all that you do, we truly appreciate you! 💙
