Shamelya Perry, MS, LCAS, MAC, SAP, CCI, is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Master Addiction Counselor who provides compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Through Healing Horizons LLC in Wilson, NC, she works with individuals, families, and groups and specializes in addiction, coping skills, and chronic relapse.

Her approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, solution-focused approaches, and other therapeutic techniques. Healing Horizons also provides substance use groups, as well as DMV evaluations and Department of Transportation Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations. Services are available both in person and virtually.

GreenTree Peer Support Program is a peer-operated wellness center in Winston-Salem dedicated to supporting mental health recovery, substance use recovery, and overall wellness. Their services are free to the community and are led by people with lived experience who understand the challenges of trauma, mental health, substance use, and neurodiversity firsthand.

GreenTree offers individual and group peer support, wellness and self-help activities, substance use recovery support through The Nexus, connections to community resources, and overnight crisis support through The Refuge. Their Peer Center also provides a welcoming drop-in space where no appointment is needed.
