Meet Elvis Oliver Zavaleta, Class of 2026 Salutatorian.

Elvis graduated with two associate degrees, a full scholarship to Clemson University, and a vision for his future: becoming an architect. Growing up as the third sibling in a single-parent family, he brought quiet resilience and sharp purpose to every year of his time at Legacy.

On May 14, Elvis addressed the South Carolina Public Charter School District Board, reflecting on what Legacy meant to him: "In every class I've taken, I've learned more than just the subject matter. I've learned how to be more responsible, more articulate, and more vigilant."

Elvis, we can't wait to see what you build. 💛💜

What a night. 🦁💜 The Legacy community came together for Legacy Early College Night at the The Greenville Drive, full of energy, pride, and a whole lot of heart. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do: building scholars and community, inside the classroom and out.

A moment years in the making. 🏆 Legacy Early College founder William Brown was awarded the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest civilian honor, during Senior Signing Day at the Parker Campus. The same day our scholars announced their college destinations, the man who made those moments possible was recognized for his transformational impact on West Greenville and beyond.

Because zip codes should never determine destinies.

When a Legacy scholar comes back to pour into the next generation, that's the Legacy Advancement mission at work. Furman University recently hosted a college application and essay workshop for our juniors, joined by Class of 2020 valedictorian Jayden Williams, now a proud Furman graduate. 💜
