A huge appreciation to the one and only Rodney Bailey who drives tennis through so many channels in our region! Rodney is volunteer President of the DCTA and spearheads outreach into the community to make tennis accessible to all.

A tireless helper for events such as the recent 65+ USTA State Championships and ensures tennis is represented at events such as the City of Greenvilles's Rec & Roll initiative.

The tennis community in Pitt County is fortunate to have you in their corner.

DCTA has been a proud participant in the Rec-N-Roll events happening around Greenville. We love introducing kids to tennis and teaching them all about the health benefits as well as having fun! There are a few left in the month of May. Come on out and join us!

🎾 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Tennis Court Improvements Coming Soon!

Greenville Recreation & Parks will be temporarily closing the River Birch Tennis Center Courts beginning April 13 as we make important upgrades to the facility. During this time, players are encouraged to use courts at Elm Street Park and Evans Park.

Here’s what’s coming:
✨ New LED lighting installed to meet USTA standards—brighter, more efficient, and better for play
🎾 Crack repairs and resurfacing on courts 1–8 for a smoother, safer playing experience

⏳ The project is expected to take approximately 60 days

We know this may impact your routine, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to enhance the courts for our community. These upgrades will create a better experience for players of all levels!
