Sometimes, the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference. 💙🐾

The Greenville Sheriff's Foundation recently had the privilege of donating our Foundation Pups to Safe Harbor, where they will provide comfort to children and families navigating the challenges of domestic abuse.

These plush companions are more than stuffed animals—they're a source of comfort, reassurance, and a friendly face during difficult moments. We were honored to have our Vice Chair, Stacy Kuper, deliver the donation alongside Safe Harbor's Interim Executive Director, Julie Pringle, and Director of Development and Communications, Nancy Shepard.

We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations like Safe Harbor that make such a meaningful impact across the Upstate. Together, we can continue finding ways to bring hope, comfort, and support to those who need it most.

🎓 Investing in the Next Generation

The Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation was proud to award 43 scholarships to the children of Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies during our 2026 Scholarship Awards Ceremony.

These scholarships represent our commitment to supporting the families who support those who serve our community every day.

A special thank you to USC Upstate for hosting this wonderful event and to our generous donors who make these opportunities possible.

🐕‍🦺 Behind every successful K9 team is a community that believes in their mission.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit is recognized as one of the best in the South, but maintaining that level of excellence requires ongoing training, specialized equipment, and significant resources. Many of those needs are funded through donations made to the Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation.

Recently, our K9 handlers and partners joined law enforcement agencies from across South Carolina as Governor Henry McMaster signed legislation increasing penalties for harming or killing police animals — a meaningful step toward protecting the dogs who serve and sacrifice alongside our deputies.

From training and ballistic vests to specially equipped vehicles, every donation helps ensure these incredible K9s have the tools they need to keep our community safe.

🐾❤️ Bringing Comfort, One Plush Pup at a Time ❤️🐾

The Greenville Sheriff’s Foundation was honored to donate two cases of stuffed K9s to the children at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. These special plush companions represent the dedicated K9s who serve alongside the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and will help bring smiles and comfort to young patients during their stay.

This meaningful donation was made possible through the generosity of our longtime supporters, Dr. and Mrs. Chris Wright and Mr. Gerald Peterson. Thank you for your continued commitment to making a difference in our community.

We’d also like to thank Lt. Al Cannon and his four-legged deputies for stopping by and making the day even more memorable, as well as Dr. Haddad for helping coordinate this wonderful event.

Together, we’re supporting the children and families of Greenville County—one paw at a time. 🐕💙

🐾 Welcome to the team, K9 Titan!

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Foundation recently had the honor of introducing K9 Titan and his handler, Deputy Osorio, at a special meet & greet hosted by Quality Logistics. This event was a powerful reminder of what can happen when community partners and law enforcement come together with a shared mission: keeping Greenville County safe.

As Titan begins his intensive training in explosives detection and tracking, we’re proud to support the resources and partnerships that make this work possible. A big thank you to Quality Logistics and the Levato family for their continued commitment to public safety.
