Growth doesn’t happen overnight. There will be challenges. There will be setbacks. There will be moments when quitting feels easier.

But the promise we make to our scholars is simple: Keep going.

Since 2018, Young Brothers Academy has walked alongside young men through different seasons of their lives, encouraging them to stay committed, keep growing, and continue becoming the leaders they were created to be.

On October 24, we’ll celebrate that journey at our 8th Annual Honoring the Promise Gala.

YBA joined Montana Ali on The Block radio show to talk about the heart behind Young Brothers Academy.

Since 2022, Young Brothers Academy has invested in our scholars beyond mentorship by providing scholarships that help open doors to what comes next.

At Young Brothers Academy, the promise is bigger than getting young men through a program. It’s about walking alongside them as they grow, lead, and ultimately cross the graduation stage prepared for what comes next.

Since 2018, 100% of our eligible seniors have graduated from high school. That’s a promise worth keeping. 🌳

Sometimes you have to look back to appreciate just how far the vision has come. 🌍🌳

This throwback WYFF interview takes us back to 2018, after returning from Ghana, West Africa, a journey that challenged thinking, expanded the vision, and helped plant the seeds for what would become Young Brothers Academy.

What started as a vision has grown into years of investing in young men through education, exposure, and leadership development.

And the promise continues.

On October 24th, we’ll gather for our 8th Annual Honoring the Promise Gala to celebrate the journey, recognize the impact, and invest in what’s next.
