LISTEN! LISTEN! LISTEN!
Mr. Gil Porter will be talking on WWKI 100.5 (Thursday, May 14th) after 9:30am.
Mr. Porter will talk and answer questions about his presentation this coming Saturday, May 16, at Greentown Library Community Room, starting at 2:00pm.
Tune in and listen to Gil. It is very exciting that he will talk about the history of schools in Eastern Howard County Townships from Indiana’s statehood to one-room schools and today’s large school corporations.

REMINDER!!!!!!
On Saturday, May 16th, at 2 pm, in our local public library's community room, Mr. Gil Porter, Howard County Historian, will give a presentation on the history of schools in eastern Howard County. This event is a collaboration between the Greentown Historical Society and the Greentown Public Library. Light refreshments will be served afterward.

SATURDAY APRIL 4th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Greentown Historical Society will debut a new exhibit at the History Center from 1pm to 4pm.
A new exhibit focusing on the history of schools in eastern Howard County (Liberty, Jackson, Union, Howard, and Taylor Townships), beginning with the early history of the Greentown area and its settlement after Indiana became a state in 1816.
