Gear for Deer is excited to announce the Inaugural Gear For Deer Fundraising raffle ticket. With $10 you could win $500 cash, a two person pheasant hunt, complimentary standard cut deer processing, and a complimentary custom skull dipping and pelt tanning! Welcome! Gear for Deer is a fundraising program designed to provide new, junior resident hunters with the appropriate hunting gear/apparel to outfit them for a productive first year of hunting. As we are all aware, hunting numbers among new, youth hunters is low. The average age of a hunter in Pennsylvania is in the mid-50s. To assure our hunting future, and in an effort to encourage young hunters to join our ranks, Gear for Deer is designed to help eliminate the financial barrier that new hunters to the sport may experience.
