A very sweet boy is in need of your help!

Meet Poppa! He belongs to a local disabled community member who was in a different financial situation when she got him. His reoccurring ear infections are causing him a lot of itchiness, and he's very uncomfortable. Despite this, he is still the sweetest boy who just wants to give kisses and snuggle. In addition to steroids, and additional medication, we were able to provide a month of ear-treatment medication to help him get back to normal.

Thanks to your support, we're sometimes able to help community members like Poppa's family. But, we can't do it without financial support. Can you donate a few dollars to help our guy Poppa? Even just the cost of a coffee would mean so much to us. If you can't donate at this time, please share! Any funds exceeding $300 go right back into the dogs we so deeply love and cherish.

Our ADOPTION process 🐾

First you would go to our website at crossyourpaws.com, see & read the profiles of available dogs 🐶 (dogs with 🐾, ⛰️ emojis are still in a shelter - we are trying to pull)

Based on their profile, if you have your primary pick, you then would click APPLY to submit an application for that specific pup!

Make sure you read the application and complete it fully or your application can be passed up due to missing information.

We do run apps in order in which they are received to give everyone the same chances - please know some dogs get multiple apps - we try to take them off the site so we have time to run the apps that came in and so that others don’t continue to apply.

If your application is approved - our team member will reach out and discuss the next steps and answer any questions.

Then we put you in touch with the foster to coordinate a meet and greet. The foster will know more about the pups personality and etc 🙂

Lastly you complete the meet and greet and see how it goes and if it goes well with both foster and adopter - then you can officially adopt!

Please note - some dogs have specific needs and triggers so we try our best to place them in a home that they will succeed in. We want what’s best for both the adopter and pup 🐶

Please do not complete an “Adoption Event” application for dogs that are not listed on our site.

That application is for the event on 09/06 for people to meet that dogs we have posted under that event. (Daisy, Princess, Bolt, Mick so far)

When dogs are ready for applications, we will have them listed on our website 🐾

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing volunteers, who without them this rescue wouldn’t be possible! We had a great time taking a few hours off to socialize, eat some great food and play games before getting right back into saving lives 🐾
We also celebrated the lives of volunteers we’ve very sadly lost.
Thank you all again for all you do for the pups!

Bear Bear is a 1.5-year-old girl with a sweet personality and so much love to give! ❤️ This beautiful girl is an absolute sweetheart who is great with both dogs and people. She is settling into her foster home and ready to find her forever people!

🙌 Big wins for local rescue work! 🙌

Today, an incredible member of our community made the selfless, loving decision to surrender a litter of 10 puppies to our care—and we couldn't be more grateful.💖

It takes a lot of heart and courage to admit when a litter needs more resources than you can handle, but because of this compassionate decision, these 10 precious pups are officially set up for safe, happy futures.

What’s Next for the Pack?

🐾The Puppies: These gorgeous American Eskimo x Lab x Great Dane mixes will be looking for forever families!
🐾Momma Dog: Best of all, we are helping get momma spayed as well! She will no longer have to carry the burden of future litters and can focus on living her absolute best, happiest doggy life.

It truly takes a village to break the cycle and keep tail-waggers safe and healthy. Huge love to this owner for doing the right thing by these sweet pups and their momma!
