TEARS 1st Annual Walk for Su***de & Drug Overdose Loss 💜
A Walk of Remembrance, Hope & Healing
For families grieving the loss of a child or young person to su***de or drug overdose, the pain can feel isolating and overwhelming. At TEARS, we want you to know this:
You are not alone.
We walk together.
And your child will always be remembered.
We invite you to join us for the TEARS 1st Annual Walk for Su***de & Drug Overdose Loss, a meaningful day of remembrance honoring the lives of young people gone too soon.
You may participate in person or virtually from anywhere by walking in your neighborhood, at a park, along the beach, or in any place where you feel connected to your child and their memory.
Every registered participant will receive a handmade dragonfly in the mail with their child’s name lovingly included as a symbol of remembrance, hope, and transformation.
At the event, we will also:
💜Read each child’s name aloud in honor and remembrance
💜Create a remembrance wall featuring submitted photos of the children being honored (photo submission optional)
💜Hold space for families to grieve, remember, and walk beside others who understand
The grief surrounding su***de and overdose loss is profound and no family should have to carry it alone. Together, we remember every life, every story, and every child who mattered deeply.
