One moment you’re sailing the coast of North Carolina and Virginia on a two-week Commodore’s Cruise with your fellow Ship 3 Scouts… and the next day you’re reporting to the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Ava, what an incredible journey you are beginning! We are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. Your Ship 3 and Troop 219 families will miss you, but we are excited to see where your hard work, leadership, and determination take you.

Wishing you the very best as you start this next adventure. Fair winds and following seas, Ava! ⚓️
