Exciting things are happening at GMAJ!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Spring Recital and helped us celebrate our students and supporters. We had a wonderful evening of music, recognition, and community.

This summer we're looking forward to:
-The John Coltrane Jazz Workshop (July 20–24)
-Youth Jazz Ensemble community performances
-Continued scholarships and music education opportunities for students across the Triad

This Friday, June 5th at 6:30 PM, our students will take the stage to share the music, growth, and hard work they have poured into their craft throughout the year.

This year's recital will be especially meaningful as we take time to recognize and celebrate the donors whose generosity helps make music education accessible to students throughout our community.

Today, we honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the importance of community, service, and remembrance.

From all of us at GMAJ, we extend our gratitude to the families who carry the legacy of those who served.

This final session of the series brought together students, musicians, and community members for an evening of live jazz, interactive learning, and musical collaboration at The Crown at the Carolina Theatre.

A huge thank you to Al Strong, our participating students and educators, Creative Greensboro, the Carolina Theatre, and everyone who supported this series throughout the season.

Tonight was Great!!!
Mr. Gant lead students in lessons that covered harmony, communication, improvisation, and confidence. The students were amazing!!
