Yesterday was another meaningful day of learning for our Pathfinders of Purpose.

As part of their Career Pathways experience, our young people had the opportunity to learn from two men who brought real-world knowledge and experience into the room.

We want to extend a special thank you to Jesse Simmons of Osprey Imagery, who facilitated Picture Your Path, introducing the cohort to the many ways photography and drone technology can be used across different career fields.

We also want to thank Marcus Simmons, one of our mentors, for continuing the cohort’s leadership development experience. The students worked on elevator pitches, first impressions, and gained a more in-depth understanding of interviews and behavior-based interview questions.

These are the kinds of experiences that help young people build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and begin connecting what they are learning today to the paths they may choose tomorrow.

We appreciate Jesse and Marcus for their time, knowledge, and commitment to helping our Pathfinders of Purpose prepare for what comes next.

The Purpose Lab: Who are you Really was a reflective and transformative space where the Pathfinders of Purpose courageously posed meaningful questions to Wise Practitioners, inviting honest dialogue rooted in identity, values, vision, and well-being.

" What do you believe others see when you step forward to express yourself? "
"What does your energy communicate before you speak?"
"What does your presence say without words?"
"Which parts of your education feel truly connected to the real life you want to build, and which parts feel disconnected from your future?"
"What's one thing adults misunderstand about teen mental health?"
"How do you define success for yourself?"

The Pathfinders of Purpose gained guidance, affirmation, and tools to chart their paths with confidence, aligning their vibes, values, and vision as they continue their journey toward becoming their most authentic selves.

"Truth at the Podium no Filters." 🎙️

Today’s session is all about the power of presence. We’re joining Victoria Brewer and Jayden Watkins to dive into what it really means to express yourself authentically.

When you step up to the mic, what are you reflecting?

A huge thank you to all of our Wise Practitioners who joined us today! Stay tuned to hear more about the Purpose Lab. 🚀

Through each segment, the youth learned valuable lessons to carry into their personal and professional lives. They built on their strengths, focused on areas of growth, and gained confidence in their purpose and voice.
