IBEW Local 342 The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers is committed to improving the lives of North America’s electrical workers and their families.

Local 342 organizes and represents workers from 17 counties in the Central Piedmont Region of NC. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 342 represents workers in 17 counties throughout the Triad and the Central Piedmont Region of North Carolina. We currently represent and advocate for inside and outside construction workers. Although we represent construction workers, Local 342

can also help you and your coworkers organize a union (a union is not a third party; a union is you and your coworkers!) if you work in/at any of the following industries/jobsites:

Inside / Outside Electrical Construction; Manufacturing (of Electronics, Electronic Components, etc.); Industrial Production; Electric Supply Companies/Houses; Warehouses; Distribution; Utilities; Overhead/Line Work and Tree Trimming; Telecommunications; Broadcasting and Recording; Railroad; Municipalities; Government & any jobsites in the electrical industry more broadly.
