Anthony Morrison | Community Relations, Krew of Kingsmen
Anthony Morrison is a devoted family man, mentor, and community advocate whose life has been centered around service, leadership, and creating positive change. As Community Relations for Krew of Kingsmen, he serves as a bridge between the organization and the people it was created to uplift, bringing passion, experience, and a genuine heart for others.
At 55 years old, Anthony is the proud father of four children, Amberia, Dominique, Anthony, and Henry, as well as his adopted daughter, Khiana. He is also a loving grandfather to three grandchildren, Ryann, Kalli, and Kaizie. Family has always been at the center of his life, and he believes that strong families build strong communities.
A graduate of Grimsley High School, Class of 1987, Anthony has dedicated his life to serving others in many ways. He worked as a sanitation professional for 30 years before retiring, a career that reflected his commitment to keeping neighborhoods clean, safe, and thriving. His passion for service continues through his own business, Anthony M. Lawncare Service, which he has operated for several years while continuing to invest in the communities he loves.
Anthony’s personal mission is simple yet powerful: to help keep his neighborhood clean, safe, and filled with opportunity. Growing up, he naturally became a mentor to the young people around him, encouraging positive behavior and teaching the importance of developing a strong mindset. He believes that every young person has unique talents waiting to be discovered and that mentorship can help transform difficult situations into opportunities for growth and success.
His service to the community extends beyond mentorship. Anthony proudly served on the Eastside Community Board from 2012 to 2015, working alongside others to strengthen the neighborhood and advocate for positive change. Whether through volunteer work, community leadership, or simply offering encouragement, he has always been someone people can depend on.
As Community Relations for Krew of Kingsmen, Anthony is passionate about empowering youth, helping them recognize their potential, and building meaningful relationships that inspire growth. He believes mentorship is not just about giving advice, but about showing up, listening, and helping young people become the best versions of themselves.
Anthony is known for his warm personality, his love for baseball, his loyalty to Washington football, and his favorite saying, “Yo, what’s up Bro!” More than anything, he hopes to leave a legacy of service, positivity, and empowerment that will continue to impact generations to come.
