Earlier this week, our friend, Eddie Morton, ran the length of an Ultra Marathon to celebrate his 45th birthday. Eddie had the great idea to raise money with his run for our foundation. Eddie's hard work paid off and he was able to raise $842 for Mattie J CPR to help us continue to provide free CPR and First Aid training for our community. CONGRATULATIONS EDDIE ON THIS AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT!!!

Mattie J CPR was joined at our community CPR class this weekend by Miss Briley Alley who is competing to become Miss Historic Jonesborough. As part of her community outreach, Briley is promoting CPR awareness. We are proud to have her help us train the community in lifesaving skills. Congratulations to everyone who earned their AHA BLS certifications this weekend, including personnel from the Greeneville Emergency & Rescue Squad.

This past week Mattie J CPR was invited to visit Mrs. Beets class at Chuckey Doak High School where we were presented with a wonderful donation from the students. The students of Chuckey Doak took it upon themselves to choose Mattie J CPR for their homecoming fundraiser. These amazing young adults learn hands only CPR in health class and their generosity exemplifies what makes our Greene County community so amazing!!!
