The Rummage is cancelled due to the weather

07/31/2026

ATTENTION RUMMAGE VENDORS at Village Days-

Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow. We will still be having Rummage on Broad Street, unless there are storms

We do not have a rain date, nor do we provide refunds. This is stated on the rummage application, as well as preparing for all weather, including inclement weather.

If you do not have any tents, we advise you bring tarps, garbage bags, plastic drop cloths, dollar store shower curtains, etc. to cover your items. Have plastic bins or tables to keep items off the ground during the rain periods.

It is common protocol for outdoor markets to operate rain-or-shine unless the organizer issues an official cancellation due to dangerous conditions like lightning or severe flooding.

Stay Home When
* The market officially cancels — Check with your market manager. Most markets have a cancellation policy and will notify vendors by a set time (often 5 or 6 AM). If the market cancels, do not show up.
* Severe weather is expected — Lightning, thunderstorms, high winds (over 30 mph), flooding, or tornado warnings mean staying home. No market day is worth risking your safety or your equipment.

Keep checking this page for any updates.

31 personalized bricks were purchased this year for our beloved Gazebo Park. All the proceeds go to charity that fits the Lions mission, We Serve. Lion Herb organizes the bricks every year. Here he is installing the the final brick for 2026. Hats off to Herb and all he does for this community and beyond!
